The wrong dates were listed for evening hours for Chromebook ticket pickup. The correct dates are Tuesday evening, August 17 and Thursday evening, August 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. Pickup tickets will also be available during normal HS office hours starting on Monday, August 16.
We are pleased to announce that Schoolcraft Community Schools will be offering a Clay Target Shooting Team this fall. It is open to all students in grades 6-12. Space will be limited. There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, August 12th at the Lakes Area Conservation Club (1212 West Osterhout Avenue; Portage, MI). Start time is 6:00 PM. If you are interested in participating or assisting with the team please contact Jeff Clark at clarkj@schoolcraftcs.org.

Attention all student athletes! You will need a new physical on or after April 15, 2021 to participate in schools sports for the 2021-2022 school year. This applies to all students in grades 6-12. Forms can be obtained at the high school office.
Every year our PTO does amazing things for the students, staff, and families of the district. We quite literally could not do what we do without this organization! We share this post today because we could use your support by serving on this organization.
There is a small team returning that will provide not only experience, but guidance to the PTO. Your help in planning fun events, fundraisers, and other levels of support are, however, needed.

Please consider with sincerity this need. You can contribute on your own, with a friend or neighbor, or whatever suits your schedule and availability. No amount of support is too little.

I would like to introduce our new varsity girls volleyball coach Jill Bissett. Jill has 20 years of coaching experience from community college down to youth. Jill is a behavioral interventionist at Sturgis Middle School. She lives in Three Rivers with her husband Neil, daughter Lizzie, and son Brady. Her hobbies include watching her children play multiple sports, camping, scrapbooking, and reading mystery books.

I would to introduce our new varsity girls basketball coach Jason Jarrett.
Jason has over 30 years of coaching experience from High School down to Youth Basketball. He spent the last 3 years coaching Girls Basketball at Portage Central High School.
Coach Jarrett has a strong belief in treating everyone in the program with caring, respect and accountability. Knowing that great players make great teams, he’s dedicated to helping make all players better, throughout the entire program. “Don’t teach them plays, teach them how to play”.
Jason lives in Portage with his wife Dawn, and two daughters Addy and Arlie. In his spare time he owns and operates Bright Ideas Technology.
