Class of 2020 Message and Survey - March 30, 2020

Monday, March 30, 2020

To the SHS Class of 2020,

During this time of crisis, we wanted to reach out to all of you to let you know we are thinking of you during this time.  All of our lives have been disrupted and a cloud of uncertainty looms over us all. For you as seniors, this is supposed to be a special time. With prom and graduation planned to be in the coming months and not yet knowing how we are moving forward with school, there is an uncertainty with how all of the events that make school special will proceed.  I want to assure you that we will make every effort at providing the end of your school career at SHS positive and memorable.

We are looking at ways that we can possibly honor you as graduates.  Please take this quick survey (Link) to provide us your thoughts and ideas.  Mr. Dailey has been in frequent conversation with high school principals from across the state on how to honor your efforts and how to appropriately launch you into the next phase of your life.

Just remember that in life there are “bumps in the road.” It is how we approach those bumps that makes all the difference.  Please join me in taking these “bumps” head on with a positive attitude and approach to what each day brings to us.

Dr. Stitt, Superintendent        Mr. Dailey, High School Principal
