Walther Farms Project

Schoolcraft Community Schools and their student project with Walther Farms was recently featured by Buck Institute, the preemptive publication on Project Based Teaching and Learning:

"Walther Farms Project Schoolcraft Strategic Partnerships for Learning

This sounds like a very cool K-4 project that combines math, reading, social studies, and science, in which a school worked with a local farm. Love their video, “The Next Potato.”"

In collaboration with Schoolcraft Elementary School, Walther Farms provided the Kindergarten through 4th grade students the opportunity to apply reading, math, science, and social study standards in a truly authentic experience that lead to actionable steps for their organization.  This was just one of over a dozen Strategic Partnerships for Authentic Learning that SCS has done K-12 during the 2017/18 school year.
