Schoolcraft announces a Pre-School program for the 2013-14 school year.
The Pre-K program is under the realm of The Great Start Readiness Program, a state funded program for 4 year-old children who may be at risk. The Pre-K program includes a certified teacher with a Z-A endorsement and a full time classroom aide. The program is a half day program and runs four days a week.

All families who have children that will be four years old by November 1, 2013 and are interested in a preschool program are encouraged to complete the common Kalamazoo County application. Decisions for the program are first made by financial need and then by first come first serve.

Helpful links for parents of incoming students! Please make sure to complete these forms for your child's enrollment packet:
New student enrollment form; affirmation of prior discipline record; records release; permission to publish; transportation request; student acceptable use policy.

New Lunch/Recess Schedule

Y5's and K have lunch at 11:15  (recess before lunch)

1st grade has lunch at 11:30 (recess before lunch)

2nd grade has lunch at 11:50 (recess before lunch)

If children are well enough to be in school, they are typically well enough to go outdoors and enjoy recess. If your child needs to be inside for recess for more than one day, a note from a physician is required for children to be individually supervised during recess time.  If you have extenuating circumstances that need to be considered, please call our office.

What is Scrip?
"Scrip" is the purchasing of giftcards to stores and restaurants that you already use. Companies donate between 2% - 14% of the card's value back to our schools. You're not paying any extra and there's no need to change where you shop.
It's easy to participate! Where do you spend money every month? Do you eat at Wendy's, Mancino’s or Texas Roadhouse? How about going to Celebration
Cinema to catch a movie? If you buy shoes at Payless, books at Barnes& Noble, clothes at Sears or American Eagle, or home project materials at Lowe's or Home Depot, then Scrip has cards for you!
