Summer Reading

Summer Reading at the Schoolcraft Community Library starts on June 18 with registrations for programs and reading clubs starting at 10:00 am. We are emphasizing reading 20 minutes a day again this summer; children can earn incentives by tracking their reading with us. We have special programs happening all summer. Some of the highlights include:

Reading Buddies for K-5th grade--June 25, July 9, 16, 23-- Buddy up with an older student to read together.

Tales to Tails / Paws & Pages for All Ages-- Wednesdays and Thursdays in June and July, read or listen to a story with a live therapy dog

Science Fridays for 3-5th grade--July 13, 20, 27-- Hands-on science for kids
Nelson's Wildlife Safari for All Ages--July 19--3pm See and touch exotic animals from around the world

Starlab Planetarium for K-5th grade--July 24--We've brought this popular program back for all ages, join us in an inflatable planetarium to learn about the stars

BenJammin Summer Reading Party for All Ages--July 30-- Music, awards, and fun!
